^ Agreed. I'm guessing they concentrate on the NES and SNES in 2018. Maybe the N64 comes in 2019.

What are the odds of getting a Game Boy Color Classic? That would be sick with 30 games or something, I'd absolutely buy it. I suppose it's a little more complicated with the display.

Found this thread and I like the predictions. Too bad the N64 didn't happen this December. I was also hoping for a Mini N64, but I also predicted that with Nintendo wanting their Switch to do everything and anything old, why not put the N64 games onto the online platform. SNES games are going there soon, so why not N64, Gameboy and the rest. I'd rather they made it to where we can pay a flat fee, like $7.99 like the Arcade Classics does. I love all games. I still play Mario Bro, Donkey Kong and would love to see Tapper. Keep adding the actual arcade ports and we will purchase it all eventually. Let us port it over to any Nintendo console in the future and you will keep us all happy and continue to buy more without worrying about whether it will disappear from the system. Treat it like Steam does. Once bought it's yours. As long as you have that Nintendo account. Here's to something happening and glad Nintendo has made a comeback. They needed a win and I also think they make indestructible stuff. Drop any of their old consoles compared to Playstation or other rivals and watch them still play. The Gamecube was especially resilient. Later guys.

The 'Classic' consoles seems to be done for Nintendo for the time being as they're apparently focusing slowly on making NSO better. SNES games have been added to NSO so that's a step up and who knows if they'll add N64, NGC, Wii and Wii U "free" games, too.

It's possible that Nintendo may make an extra subscription or increase the main subscription from $19.99 to $39.99 for featuring N64, NGC, Wii and Wii U games free for the paid members of the service.

Some argue NGC games wouldn't work on the Switch due to the lack of analog triggers, but Luigi's Mansion 3 is going to be available on it and the second one was on the 3DS that didn't have them either. Nintendo can make it work perfectly if they want.

Hell, even Mario Kart Tour on touchscreen devices works wonderfully although at first it took me some getting used to, but now it feels like playing with a controller. Except I only use two fingers for all.

I couldnt see them selling it under $ 130, due to the complicated mechanics of that console, and alot more memory for each game, compared to SNES mini.
Your prediction is looking pretty good so far

I'd be surprised if Nintendo bothered with an N64 mini. Better chance you might see a Gameboy Mini, but what's the point of that when Nintendo is selling a handheld or handheld-combo in the Switch?

The points about N64's increased costs are spot-on, not to mention the Company just re-released Mario 64 as part of an All-Star's bundle that allowed it to get more money. I think there's a far better chance you'll see Nintendo take Ocarina of Time, with Twilight Princess and Wind Waker as part of a Legend of Zelda All-Star anniversary release.

Same could be said with games such as Donkey Kong 64 and Kirby 64. Those are games Nintendo would make more money by simply packing them as part of other collections to encourage Switch sales. With the PS5 and Xbox Series X now out, it just doesn't make any financial sense to encourage consumers to spend money on a Nintendo product through which the Company can't make more money.

You get the Nintendo Switch online expansion instead, lol. The minis are a fun token item to have, but I still prefer to play my original carts, even on FPGA consoles like the Nt Mini and Super Nt.

The iQue player officially released by Nintendo in China is the closest thing to an N64 classic edition. It would be awesome if they release it outside of China.

Talk about a nice score! My son's best friend just gave my son an NES and an SNES mini. Just gave them to him! Said he didn't want them anymore and he couldn't find the HDMI cables/power cables to them. Well, a quick trip to Wal Mart and about 38 bucks later we replaced the HDMI and power cables to both units and now we are enjoying some nice Nintendo retro gaming!

You paid $38 for 2 HDMI cables and 2 USB cables? You could have easily got them for under $10.

Your prediction was correct.

N64 Mini? Yeah, naw. Buy a Switch and buy NSO Expansion to get N64 games.
