I wonder if the extras will be ported over from the previous releases? I don't know if Disney produced any of the new ones exclusively, and they're notoriously stingy about letting other studios have their extras. Hmm...
The extras will be the same as the Japanese editions, but they said they'll be working on getting additional stuff, if they can.

Already stated that they all will have translated subs as well as dubtitles.

As far as I know, it's Mononoke, Castle, and Kiki that have the dubtitle issue on the Disney discs.

According to GKids, their subtitles will be what they are on the Japanese releases, which means Kiki's will still probably be the transcription of the old Streamline dub, which is apparently a more faithful translation than the Disney dub.

Someone else will have to confirm, though.

Someone DID catch GKids' eye about that, though. Hopefully they'll take their message and restore the subs on that to their right translations:

"Coffee" vs "hot chocolate" and "fat, fat, FAAAAT!" vs "every day, every day, EVERY DAY!"

Not that I'm anal about this, but there are some people who are.

Argh, too late, I already bought the HK version of Princess Mononoke for the subtitles!

I might get Castle in the Sky since it sounds like there's more than just subtitles there.

iScottie, do you know/did you ask if their Nausicaa will feature the newer master (only available in the Japanese set)? Would be the news.

Will pickup Yamadas, but there's not much of a point to double-dipping on other titles unless they add some significant special features that the Disney versions didn't have.

Why are they rereleasing what we already own?

I guess I better snatch up the current versions of the movies I need (Pompoko, for example) so I can ensure my covers still match the others I own.

Here is the cover artwork for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. A better quality image should be available soon.

I am not sure. I am merely sharing the information they were kind enough to provide on their Twitter page.

I have a feeling that they will release more information in the coming months.

It would be nice to have a version of Totoro that doesn't use amalgam kid on the cover...

At least the old Disney DVD got that part right.

To be fair, it is the most iconic artwork for the film.

Pom Poko is dubtitled and Arrietty has an inferior dub.

I didn't have any issue with the dub of Arrietty. I haven't seen it recently, but I found nothing majorly wrong with it.

I thought the Disney dub of Arrietty was fine, too, though maybe they could restore the full version of "Arrietty's Theme" to the end credits.

It'd be nice to get the UK dub, but I imagine there would be some rights hurdles to jump.

I only heard the Disney dub once and I didn't like the fact they made Arrietty act like a rude American and the fact that they changed the characters names and the Disney channel song added to the end of the movie.
