It was never advertised in the US as a 3D release, they only promoted IMAX and Large Format Theaters.

There have been a few posters stating 3D. Plus I seem to recall a trailer or two mentioning it.

In Spain all the promotion campaign stating 3d (posters, tv spots, advertising in cinemas) but then it is not projected in 3d anywhere, I simply don't get it

I was just going to go see this, but with them not supporting the 3D release , I will just wait for the video

No big deal, but I checked some 3D showings overseas and I found "page not found" for the 3D Kingsman: Golden Circle 3D from the search links.

I think this was scheduled to conversion in 3d but never came to be realized. They did not change the posters

The first posters that mentioned 3D apparently came out just two months ago. Maybe it was a crappy rush-job and they canceled the release?

Well, Toronto has some 3D showings.... Ill have to take the trip there to go see it in 3D (only 20 minutes away)

I wonder if British Columbia Canada would have any 3D showings. I could drive up to Seattle and take the ferry up to BC and see this in 3D if it's there. Would totally be worth it. Would have to leave the wife at home....no passport or enhanced driver's license yet to get back across the border.

EDIT

I just checked and there are 3D showings in Vancouver BC so now I might just have to do this.

Wow that is some serious commitment to go and see a movie in 3D. Most of the time I can't even be bothered to go to my local cinema lol.

I saw it in 2D and just kept thinking to myself how amazing it would have been in 3D. You can totally see every instance where it was intended to be seen in 3D and there were many. Everytime I saw what woulda been a great 3D shot I kept shaking my fist at the screen lol. I'm only 30 miles or so south of Seattle and I haven't been up to BC in over 10 years so it would be a nice little getaway. Maybe if I can get my wife to renew her driver license and get the enhanced version it could be here in time for both of us to go. Maybe make an overnight getaway of it. Load up on slipcovers while I'm there too lol.

I hope this gets a 3D blu-ray release in the UK, but i'm worried because it wasn't 3D in the theaters.

I'll be amazed if it does. I struggle to think of a theatrical movie that got a UK 3D blu that wasn't available in 3D in UK cinemas.
