If only it were a real film..... Or maybe it can be one of those “we’ll it wasn’t real, until it blew up and got so much feedback that it became real” kind of things Or am I overthinking this? |

I liked EASTBOUND AND DOWN, but McBride is a one-note "actor". I'm sick of his schtick. I liked events that OCCURRED in EB&D, but if you watch any three minutes of McBride doing something - anything - you could intercut that into any other moment and I'd have a hard time discerning what's different. Or the scenario/situation.
He's probably pretty fun to know in real life, but for god's sake I'm so tired of him. |

As a movie, this is terrible. As a suberbowl ad, it's kinda clever. Still waiting for my Yahoo Serious cameo.

Yeah, I will give him Covenant. I was prepared to spend all of his screentime being annoyed by him but I ended up actually enjoying him in that role. Playing it straight worked a lot better for him that I thought it would.
