Oh nice, a domestic release? No need to import from Deutscheland? Yes please.

Would be surprised if it's not 2K.

Guardians Vol. 2, Spidey Homecoming (And those German UHDs of the Iron Man trilogy that no one's fond of speaking about...)

Is there a release date for Incredible Hulk? Before or after Thor 3?

This should be a Universal release. So no surprise. Most likely will be getting this.

I'm really looking forward to revisiting this, truth be told. I'm not the greatest fan of the movie as my problem with the pre-Avengers depictions of Hulk himself is that it's too divorced from the actor actually playing him, in a funny way even Bixby to Ferrigno felt like it was still the same character but when I look at the Hulks in both this film and the Ang Lee one I just don't see anything of Norton and Bana in them.

But I still wanna see what HDR can do for the myriad CG effects, I'm of the very firm opinion that better lighting can be of great help to digital VFX so it'll be interesting to see where Universal are at.

The title is from today also listed under 4K Ultra HD format on Universal's homepage. No specs or cover artwork yet, but that's normal. In a day or two more info will be available.

Maybe they'll give us a green UHD case and a lenti slip

This movie was my first BD, looking forward to upgrading it but I'm never letting go of my BD copy. #sentimental

As much as I enjoy the movie, I feel like the 4K transfer will make the effects and fights look very dated. Watching it a few months ago I was already feeling like that.

If this gets an Atmos/DTS:X upgrade, it’s going to sound amazing. I probably won’t double dip though, since I already own the green case with the slip cover on BD.

I actually really like this film. It's not amazing, but I really enjoy it.

If Universal handles it as well as their other catalogue titles, it'll look incredible (hehe).

I only hope it sells amazingly well to help possibly convince Disney to invest in MCU catalogue 4K releases.

Definitely picking this up.

Loved Edward Norton as Dr. Banner.

Can't stand Mark Ruffalo at all.

I am in the (apparent) tiny minority that also preferred Norton. His look in the this movie just screamed Banner to me.

Oh, I loved him as Banner. I just tuned out when he turns into the Hulk, whereas I can see so much of Ruffalo in the Hulk version of him AND he still manages to look more like a classically comic-book version of Hulk at the same time, rather than the wiry-looking (for a Hulk ) Norton version.

It's awesome that you say this since The Incredible Hulk has been a Bass Reference Demo movie by audiophiles on the data-bass and AVS forums ever since it released on disc as it has ULF that digs into the single digits easily as the bass graph below shows!

We can only hope they don't neuter the bass on this 4K release with the DTS:X soundtrack.

I’ve heard this in the past. Is there one or two scenes that I can use to see what these reference points are? My sound speakers aren’t the best, so I may not be able to hear it, but if I upgrade I want to do a comparison.
