I’ll admit the 4K cover does look kind of ridiculous, but the steelbook looks fine. And tbh who gives a sh*t about the DISC art. Really?

I care about the disc art. I prefer original poster art. Especially, if the original artwork is great. I also love when they include the tagline. Hello, In Space No One Can Hear You Scream!!

Well COVER art is a different story. I too prefer original poster art to custom art (most of the time). And all those posters you mentioned easily beat the cover on their respective blu-ray releases. I can even understand not liking the ratings logos. But the art on the ACTUAL DISC? You never even see it. Come on, that’s splitting hairs here. Cover art you actually see on your shelf.

I have mixed feelings over the new cover as well but I’ll personally take it over the Rockin Rydell cover in a heartbeat. At least the new cover revisits the original poster even if it is altered to look very comic bookish.

??? Are you basing all of that on Amazon listing it's one disc? I don't even recall seeing a mention of a Grease 1 & 2 only release in the press release.

If your warning is solely based on Amazon listing "1" disc, that's not much to go on.... I'd go with the image and the fact that the version you're assuming it is (a single disc release with Grease 1 & 2) hasn't been announced.

Well....that and this image....

EDIT: The image on Bluray.com has been changed to match the image in this picture. But Amazon STILL has only one disk listed. Hopefully, they will change that real soon to 3 disks, because I already pre-ordered it.

I know you are right, but since there WAS a mix up...It appeared like another version being offered, but it's all good now.....so nevermind!

Of all the LIVE TV Show performances over the last few years....(The Sound of Music, the Wiz, Hairspray, A Christmas Story) NONE of them have received a bluray release.

GREASE: LIVE will be the very first one released on a physical HD disk.
