Yes! I absolutely miss PB as Bond. DC took about 3 movies for me to warm up to before I accepted him as the new Bond. DC feels like a cold heart assassin IMHO where Bond killed in style.
The last movie and even the final scene made it look like that was DC final appearance as Bond...but as far as we know he will be back as Bond :\ As I said before the producers should just have it so when a new actor replaces the former actor who played Bond, in the actual Bond universe they should say something that Bond and 007 is an identity that is created by MI6 once they are accepted into the service, so they come in as Daniel Craig and walk out as James Bond/007. |

This is exactly it. He did a great job with the character. He was believable in the role and he carried off the action well. The films were not what they should have been due to the scripts and the plots, but he was an outstanding 007. Although I grew up watching Connery and Moore, Brosnan is my favorite.

Having been born in the 90's, I grew up with the Brosnan Bond movie's. I always found them to be fun, cheesy, and wildly over the top. Daniel Craig was introduced as Bond when I became a teenager; which I found to be an appropriate 'transition' as they were more serious and adult, not childish and silly.
Now, having recently rewatched Brosnan's take as Bond I found them to be daft and dated as they're the perfect time capsule of what the 1990's were like. If I were to rank them as preference: 1. Craig 2. Connery 3. Brosnan 4. Dalton 5. Moore 6. Lazenby |

Having been a kid in the sixties, the Bond films of that decade are the only "real" Bond movies for me -- and the only ones I have on Blu-ray. I miss the feel and the sound of the sixties Bond. Everything that came afterward was and is just imitation.

Reminds me of a thread on another forum a decade+ ago where someone posted about Brosnan being let go from the role of 007, and the thread title read, "Brosnan knowlonger to play Bond", and everyone was like, "Who's Brosnan Knowlonger...?"
