Oh wow, so THAT is how they submit the layouts to Scanavo for steelbook production. That is so cool!

I think that's a production proof for Plain to approve. Check the art, check the finish, etc. I don't think they have embossing at that point. Once they approve that, then real production begins on the steels

You know those "How it's made" program shows? I wish there was one for steelbooks lol. I wonder how much it would cost to produce of 500-700 limited steelbooks.

No lenti, right? All are full slips? I'm glad I saw this on time. Will definitely buy on release date.

Love the image on C with the Train to Busan survivors looking at the zombies on the front and a complimentary reverse shot from Seoul Station on the back! So, thinking might get A and C.

This one's going to be a fast seller. Even at $54.89 each.

I’ve never pre-ordered from Plain- is it as frustrating as it has been for HDZeta’s late releases? Or worse, like FilmArena?

There should be no issues. The site won't crash at least.

The only issue I can think of in the last few years was the Sicario steelbook. Their inventory counter went down and the items kept going in and out of stock for hours.

How quickly do these tend to sell out? Should I wake up for 3:00 AM EST or will I be okay if I order when I wake up at 5:30 AM EST? I'd rather not sacrifice the sleep if I don't have to since I'll have to go to work.

It could sell out before you wake up. Looking at the last three steelbooks (Sicario, Mommy, and Foxcatcher) they all have at least 2 versions still available. Hard to judge this one.

I personally will wake up at 3:00 am to order it. I set my alarm for 2:50 am and then go back to bed right after. I wake up at 6:15 for work.

I like all of them but considering I can only get one, I'm leaning towards Type B.

If I were to only order one, B is the one I would go for! That B/W cover

Hi I've never bought anything from Plain Archive before but I want to get this tomorrow. Does their Economy Shipping option come with a tracking number? as I would hate this to get lost in the post, so will go with the more expensive option if it doesn't. Also do their releases come with subtitles for the extras?

K-Pack does not at least not within Korea. Depending on the weight it may get a tracking number in your country.
EDIT: have to correct myself, K-Pack HAS a tracking number within Korea, but some countries won't continue to use it, which is actually good to avoid customs.

Typically not, it's a South Korean release after all.
