This was a fun watch for the most part. Good premise, and some solid gore for a low budget production. The script felt a little messy, like they were unsure whether to go for a camp feel, satire, or take it seriously.

I was also a little confused by whether this was supposed to be a "period" movie or not. I mean, everything looks horribly dated, like it's the 1980's, with how they dressed, and the cars used, but then here's internet and compact cell phones. I don't believe it's supposed to be 2006, is it? That would be odd.

But besides those nitpicks, I enjoyed it. The last scene especially left me smiling, and even wanting more.

For a low budget film, I thought Big Foot looked great, except for his plastic, glow in the dark eyes (they couldn't have made the eyes more convincing?). I loved all the cameos in the film - Combs, Henrikson, Gleason - and I ended up enjoying the film too.

It's relatively well acted and written for a television production.

Lionheart and Return of the Swamp Thing just shipped too. I love Lionheart and I'm looking forward to watching Return of the Swamp Thing for the first time. More cheese please.

Keep em' coming MVD.
It's not a television production. It just debuted on syfy.

Hate to be a party pooper, but I finally watched this tonight and man was it ALL KINDS of stupid, from beginning to end no less; there was hardly a scene that didn't at some point insult the audiences intelligence. I'm usually one who can suspend disbelief, but it was hard to comprehend how they thought they could get away with some things in 2005, unless they didn't know better themselves. Not to mention, the blown out contrast, crushed blacks, and other "enhancements", makes Fox's remastered Predator look like Blu-ray of the year. Hopefully, this is the worst blind buy I've made this year. My ears seem to finally be able to take a little sound again and I was so looking forward to a good monster movie. I hate that I wasted it on this. Guess I should have gambled on Lost Coast Tapes or Hunting Grounds instead.
