All I can say is BB has got to be one of the worst places that use cheap unprotected cardboard mailers. How ever I think it boils down to how well USPS handles them. Out of 20 steels I have got 2 damaged. Hope that helps.

Well that’s a lot better then Bestbuy Canada as it’s like hitting to lottery with there packaging. Can call me in bubble mailers to boxes the size of case of beer. And no protection and they I swear send out damage ones.

Let me ask this, I've never seen these movies. Is the whole trilogy worth $49.13 tax and all?

For three movies that’s not a bad price. If you’re going for the steelbooks, I would say buy the first two at $9.99 each and then if you like those pay more for this newest one(which in my opinion is the best one). Or you can buy the whole regular Blu-ray set for $24.99. These are fun action movies that are competently made and well acted. I don’t think you could go wrong with them.

Actually that is not true. BB Canada typically ships in boxes with bubble packaging inside. One of the most sturdy boxes and the least amount of damage of any shipper.

That is, besides the premium retailers like Blufans, Kimchi, etc. But then they don't offer free shipping. You are paying for premium shipping.

If you are receiving damaged SteelBooks from BB Canada it is the exception rather than the norm.

Picking this up today. I already own the other 2 Steelbooks. Need to complete the Trilogy.

I know they have improved and ship with air bags but sometimes I get big boxes and if I only order 1 steelbook I have 50/50 getting it in a bubble mailer. That’s why I order 4 for insurance.

Got a notice saying my copy was delivered on Monday, but that seems not to be the case. UPS is currently looking for it, but I won't hold my breath. Decided to get to the store at opening today to secure my copy. Had to complete this set.

just curious what you guys think, I held off on buying on the first two for a while idk why xD lol but now that the third one was out i was gonna just buy the trilogy until i saw they made a matching steelbook for the 3rd movie that is just uber gorgeous lol Long story short

$47 for all 3 brand new or
$27 for the bandana trilogy with the comic book

which do u think is better and would have more collectable value (not for resale just for selves i like to collect lol)

I haven't decided if I'm going to buy this or try to sell the other two.

I really enjoyed the first one though. Second one, not so much. This one would be a blind buy.

The first two SteelBooks are no longer available within 250 miles of me. They were in my cart last night, but I sat on them too long. Oh well, money saved.

When I went in right when they opened all they had on the front New Releases display was The Death Cure Steelbook. None of the first two.

I didn't bother to check the regular movie section, time was short.

For anyone picking this up, the spine slashes are very difficult to see against the blue-ish paint. I was looking through a bunch at BB and thought there were some clean ones, but they ended up having slashes. I was able to find one that seems to be slash free.

The good part is that if you get a slash maybe you won't be able to notice it.

I swear...I inspect every single one in store. I get home and under light I see light scratches on the bottom of the steel book. I seem to see this a lot especially on Matte Steels, can anyone else notice very light scratches on the bottom of the steel? It def came like that because the plastic is not ripped or anything in the slightest. I really dont want to exchange this so I am actually hoping people see it so its "normal"
