Thoroughbreds didn't even open here. Bummed. They showed the trailer enough. Sad to see it drop so awful this weekend (at least the Friday-Friday drop was terrible).

Sherlock Gnomes, don't get me started. Rewatched the trailer and it's much worse. |

Pacific Rim is winning the box office weekend and there’s zero doubt about it. After three consecutive weekends where a big budget film flopped...the box office is due for a spark. The trailers indicate that it’s a fun ride and it has better reviews than Sparrow, Wrinkle in Time and Tomb Raider.

If Pacific Rim bombs, then I think Ready Player One will have potential to exceed expectations significantly, $60-70 million+ opening weekend could be possible.
I'm actually quite scared by how well Black Panther has been doing, mostly cause Infinity War opens a little more than a month and a week away and this is still the number one movie. I'm worried Infinity War will open to less because of saturation left over from Black Panther. |
