I expect they just haven't updated the Amazon listing. It would be stupid to confirm that they were releasing it otherwise. All the same, I'm not pre-ordering it myself until I see the listing confirm that it's 3D...

It could still turn up. I will just check Amazon a couple of days before release date (11th Jan) to see if the 3D version goes up.

Well, the picture does, but not the description. I have a pre-order in with both Amazon US and Amazon UK, but I'll cancel one eventually. UK, but the way, is surprisingly cheaper, even with shipping to the US.

So I just watched this 3D Blu-ray and OMG it's crazy. Very strong 3D pretty much all the way through. Right from the start of the film it shows the main couple getting each other off naked and him cumming, so you know what you getting into right from the start. Gaspar Noe doesn't hold back in this film...then again it's Gaspar Noe.

As a straight male it was a little hard to watch part of a few scenes, like in one where shes jerking him the camera goes right above his dick and he shoots his load right in your face! Had nice 3D pop out, but WTF! First time and hopefully the last time I get a load shot at me in 3D.

It did have subs when they talked in English. Then again I run most of my Blu-rays through DVDFab which removes all region codes and store them as an .ISO (Disc Image) file on my 12TB hard drive to watch whenever I want through PowerDVD. So not sure if that can be disabled.

Which blu-ray do you have (from which country) and what languages are spoken in the film?

I believe the Blu-ray is the US release with it's original English track.

The subtitles were in French. Usually PowerDVD never forces subs by default, so that made me a little worried. I was in 3D mode though and it won't let me change audio tracks/subs in 3D mode (think it's a glitch in the software since the last patch). I'll try disabling subs it in 2D later.

What is the distributor's name on your copy?

If it is Wild Side Video that would be the French December 2, 2015 release.
The distributor for the U.S. release is Alchemy, to be released on Jan 5, 2016.

The Amazon listing is very confusing... I assume the "multi format" would include everything but the price (including MSRP?) is cheaper than the standard edition!? I think I'll pre-order both for now and cancel one of them later.
