Hopefully a repress means that there’s interest in another Garko box for his 60’s / early 70’s westerns

Back of the box was a very simple at with a gun at the bottom and a simplistic smoke taking about the upper half of the cover. You're basically not losing anything there, while actually, the glossy paper they used for the J-card is very thin and easily damaged, so I would certainly have preferred having the details printed on the outer case instead.

It has been.

Not sure with titles but are ‘vengeance is mine’ and ‘$10,000 blood money’ on your list with different titles?
Also which was movie was his first appearance as a character called Sartana

I don't see a movie called Vengeance Is Mine unless that is an alternate title for Taste of Vengeance, and there is a movie listed there as $10,000 Dollars For A Massacre which I assume is the other one you mention; it' s not one of the titles on locomotive's list.

First movie where he is listed as playing a character named Sartana is 1966's $1000 On The Black.
Original name for Vengeance Is Mine is ‘$100,000 for a killing’
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt00000000062114/

And yes, $10,000 blood money is$10,000 for s killing / massacre

Question for anyone who has the repressed Sartana release....are the cases normal full thickness cases? Not those slimpack cases?

If the only difference between the two releases is the booklet and the J-card it doesn't seem worth trying to track down the Limited Edition.

This release completely escaped me because I thought it was a Sabata collection - d'oh!

Always think there should have been another spaghetti western anti-hero called Sultana with a penchant for dried fruit

Rumors exist of a Gothic western in which the gunslinger takes on a resurrected witch. Apparently called Black Sabata.

I just watches 2 interviews from "I am Sartana, your angel of Death" and there was maybe a half of the dialogue left without subtitles, made hard to follow the interviews.

Is there any likelihood of censorship differences between the US and UK editions, such as there was with one of the Seijun Suzuki box sets?

Received my set today, managed to get one of the limited edition sets with the booklet in the recent HMV sale for £25.

Looking forward to finally delving into these movies.
