Yeah I just got the same email.

I wonder what the deal is. Maybe Amazon is getting into a feud with Paramount and / or Nickelodeon now?

I guess I’ll have to get it elsewhere. It’s a shame because I actually just checked my order status last night and the price had dropped down to about $20 or so.

Well that sucks. Got the email too.

Best Buy still has a listing for pre-order, but of course it's $27.99 instead of the $24.99 I had locked in, or the $20 it dropped to.

Huh. Well it’s not an Amazon thing, then. Still, I put in an order at Best Buy just in case. I’m expecting a cancellation email soon though lol.

I got the cancellation also from Amazon, very strange.

I heard some rumors few weeks ago, these could be postponed by Paramount. Wasn't sure it was still in motion as the pre-orders were still up.

With these emails, it's the case then.

It's a DI and not a new transfer from scratch, I'm not worried about the quality on this one.

Why would this be canceled? My Walmart order is "Preparing" and Amazon likely didn't want to oversell stock they weren't going to get.

So this is an upscale. The BD PQ was excellent and I imagine better when the 4k system itself upscales the quality.

So will this be worth buying? Honestly is the difference going be negligible at best?

HDR, 10-bit, any extra resolution that's been filtered out of the BD master, better compression, 4x chroma resolution, take your pick

I had it in an order with 5 other releases due next week. Everything shipped except for TMNT.

It's possible it will just ship separately, but I doubt it.
