We get it, we have all seen your posts before and you like to think that you are some intellectual but more often than not, this time included you just come across as a sad, bitter and uninformed ass.

For someone as clearly knowledgeable as you, I take it that the fact that OJ was almost the Terminator never crossed your mind before you went ahead and wrote the above. Also, your comparison is flawed due to the fact that whoever plays Spawn will be wearing either a costume or hidden behind CGI meaning that it doesn't matter if they cast Foxx or a random stand-in for any scenes involving Spawn given that we won't actually see them.

There is a huge difference between a role such as The Terminator and someone wearing a costume, it's kind of like saying that the person they cast as V in V for Vendetta was very important given that the role was played by 4 different people, yup that wasn't Hugo Weaving wearing the costume for most of the film but rather a mix of James Purefoy, Weaving and two random stunt guys. Given that Spawn is going to be similar I think that the casting of Spawn isn't all that important unless there are loads of scenes before he becomes Spawn which from what has been said isn't going to be the case. But even if we were going to see his face, an established actor is often a better choice for a role like this. Saying it needs fresh blood is as empty a statement as it can get, fresh blood, weathered blood, it doesn't matter if the performance isn't there.

So what you are arguing is that in order to helm a great film you need to be experienced. Jesus, you better send a memo to Orson Welles as his first film Citizen Kane which is largely considered one of the best films ever made must not be all that good if experience counts. Likewise, hit up Ben Affleck, Spike Jonze, Kevin Costner, Frank Darabont (do TV movies count), Terrence Malick, Charles Burnett, Wes Anderson, The Wachowski siblings, Paul Thomas Anderson and the dozens of other great first time filmmakers as their films must not be very good as it was their first attempt. Oh look at that, you were able to drop Goyer as a bad director, go you but what of the dozens of great first time filmmakers who struck gold with their first films even though the had no experience or artistic credibility they could bring to the production.

I assume that you are familiar with the behind the scenes mess that was Blade: Trinity, a film that very few filmmakers could have saved and while it's not a great film there are very few who could have saved that production and Goyer would be one of the last places I lay blame, 90% of it belongs on Snipes.

You may want to pick up a dictionary and look of the difference between an opinion and some facts. An opinion is when one expresses their feelings, these can be based on fact, emotion and any number of other elements. A fact is a statement that can be proved true or false. What I posted was a fact, not an opinion so your need to tear it apart and actually make things up is worrying, if you are reading into something so much as to fabricate text it may be worth speaking with a professioanl.
Why don't you calm down? Why are you getting so defensive and angry?
Put my keyboard down before I hurt myself? Huh?? Speak to a professional?? What, because I disagreed with your comments??? I think you should consider your own words carefully and learn to apply them to yourself before you get bent out of shape trying to lay the smackdown on other people.

I am not interested in watching you make a fool out of yourself, therefore, I am not going to respond to you or your cronies. I am here to have intelligent and thoughtful discussions about films with other like minded people.

That is all.

Yup, there we go. You misread a post, launch a poorly thought out attack and when called on it you scurry back down your troll hole for fear of being shown up.

Nothing in my post was an attack, instead I just picked your poorly argued post apart. Unlike you I can attack a post and not the poster. Plenty of times you have done this, posted a pseudo intellectuals comment, been called on your crap and then argued that " I won't lower myself to respond" even though you started it. Time and again on here you come across as an angry little man who seems to get pleasure from showing others up and as soon as you are called on it you try to take the high road but you were never actually on it yo begin with.

I assume they came up with this trying to flow with the Black Panther craze. now Blade isn't that foul , they wouldn't make money off of another movie but the makers of Spawn probably still trying to get their money back I didn't think it was the worst movie ever made as Nicole is in it , which is probably the only person that saved the money from certain death. He was way better in Excalibur though.

well not sure where this started but been there before. Saw yours but the response tone bit ugly. But thats how it starts you say something or type something out and some nut misreads it. Happens all the time and I blocked 3-4 folks from the left of me off facebook and left a group for it. Think I just call it the lemming effect Outrage effect zombie effect whatever. Speaking of the Devil's Spawn. Think he's been sneaking around this thread. Now speaking not reading things thru. compared to the puny 16 gb disc for USA whats the gb on this?
