A great and so far reliable source on the forum here said about a month ago that this was coming. So this is not a surprise. Shawshank Redemption also later in the year.

Oh man, I can't wait to grab this. Though I wonder if some sort of cool Monsterverse set could be coming once GvK hits 4K/Blu-Ray?

Will Godzilla 2014 on 4K UHD be coming to 4K Blu-ray in the UK in May 2021? I hope so!

I likes this one, second fav in the series after Skull Isd, was a bit disappointed we didn't get it alongside KoTM so I'm def in on release date (sure hope these titles are really coming this year)!

Add me to the list that didn't find this movie too dark either, especially watching in a dark environment. Now I will admit I INITALLY thought many UHD titles were too dark compared to their BD counterparts, but that was user error, I was watching the new discs on a 4k rig but with a 1080/SDR calibration I had done myself using 1080p reference images and filters, etc, I realized I wanted to have my display pro calibrated for UHD and then boom, everything looked great. Bottom line for me is it's a must to have a couple proper calibrations/settings saved for the different sources and remember to load up the one actually suited to the content, 1080p/SRD or 4k/HDR.

I was just thinking about that. Now that the series is soon complete, why not do a Godzilla/Kong box set?

Wasn't there talk of an extended cut of this at some point? That would definitely get me to buy but otherwise I'll stick with my Blu.

Day 1. The 7.1 mix on the current BD is astonishing, with the most terrifying bass I (or my neighbor) have ever heard.
