As a further insult to UK fans, Paramount have decided to cut Bumblebee by 6 seconds to get a PG rating rather than the original 12A. The BBFC now list it as a "Re-edited version".

Well, I was pretty insulted that the version screened at the "fan screening" was in 2D.

And not releasing the last Mission Impossible movie on 3D Blu-ray was pretty insulting too, though that was an insult to 3D fans worldwide, not just the UK...

I was hoping I'd be able to see this in IMAX 3D but looks like Aquaman is taking over the IMAX screen in my city.

Gonna wait and see if Bumblebee gets to be on the XD screen in 3D at least. Not all the showtimes are up yet.

EDIT: And Cinemark just updated the times lol Looks like it'll be showing in XD 3D.

Looks like another film that's not appearing in 3D in my town. At least they haven't scheduled any showings.

What the hell. BBFC is becoming the enemy of Movies more and more now. Aquaman they also cut to get a 12A and now this one too. Just pathetic

For the edited film to meet the ratings of the UK for a PG, I wonder if they cut out some of the off taste jokes. Michael Bay and his Transformers series has quite a few terrible, unfunny jokes in there, even though he's not directing or writing this one.

Yes, the BBFC only offer guidance and advice on how to achieve a certain rating. The studio obviously really wanted the PG rating on this one. They might as well have stuck with a 12.

That's cool. I wish my local theaters had more 3D showings. Only two for Bumblebee 3D. But I knew with 4 total newer 3D films in theaters this weekend, they were going to dilute the showtimes.

I imagine the 3D will be generally medium, and then amp up to stronger 3D for the action, as with The Last Knight. TMNT 1 and 2, every time there was a CGI Turtle onscreen, mostly stronger 3D. Would be cool if they converted this similarly if Prime Focus/DNeg is responsible for the conversion.

I wasn't going to see this at the cinema anyway but my local doesn't have any 3D showings available.
