Judging by screenshots, the compression is absolutely HORRIBLE! This might go down as one of the worst encodes I've seen on the Blu-ray format

If I were Bill of Code Red, I sure wouldn't be cutting my throat trying to compete price wise with this junk release... Take advantage of the CR price while you can guys.

If you own the Code Red Blu-ray, there's probably little point in getting the Cheesy Flicks' release. The lack of lossless audio doesn't help.

The worst compression problems pop up in that first fifteen minutes, when the technician handling the transfer clearly fiddled with very crude low-pass filtering. The MPEG-2 encode clears up when the movie shifts to the present.

I was unaware of this downside. Man, I can't think of a single positive for this release. At least it doesn't come with an eco-case, I'll give them that much.

That makes sense, the screenshots show exactly that... Some are worse than others, indicating a problematic encode that clears up a bit at some point.
