I'd rather see some of the other classic CN cartoons get complete collection releases before Courage gets Blu-ray treatment. The DVDs look pretty good still.

I rather see Dexter’s Laboratory get a release first DVD or BD before Courage the Cowardly Dog. Dexter’s Laboratory only got a season 1 release on DVD.

Didn't see an appropriate thread, so I figured I would ask here: does anyone have the Australian release of the Powerpuff Girls complete series? It's a PAL AU/NZ release, but deepdiscount lists it as region 0. Is it truly region free or is it locked to region 4?

Dexter's Laboratory did get a complete series NTSC release in Australia. Sold out super quick due to unexpected international interest and now the only way to get it is the odd eBay auction that pops up.

I doubt it would actually be Region 0, it is quite likely that it is NTSC though. Any reason you'd prefer it to the US release?

The US release is out of print and sells for a hefty sum.

Fair enough, I wasn't aware of that! The Australian release has a lot of stock in stores that I've seen, so if a re-release doesn't occur, the Australian import should be a viable option for years to come.

What...

The entire series of Dexter's Laboratory was released on DVD and I didn't even know about, nor read news about it anywhere! I can't believe Madman decided to give a series like this a limited run when so many would have loved to own it.

I just hope a U.K. distributor can license it because I'm not gonna pay $295 for this. Unless, it would be a cool collector's edition and they'd release a box at a time.

It's been relisted for far less, can only assume the original auction was won by a hoax bidder.

I hope this leads to a reboot on HBO Max. Cartoon Network has so many great 90s cartoons that they're letting collect dust.

It includes every episode except for the What a Cartoon! pilot. The pilot is only available on VHS or the Australian season 2 set. Also the 2021 crossover movie with Scooby-Doo is available separately on DVD.
