Man on Fire is an extremely, EXTREMELY solid presentation. Every little bit of grain is extremely sharp and well presented. I'd give it a 5/5 for both picture and sound quality. For Con Air, 4/5 for PQ because some of it seems to be slightly washed out and there's the EE problem which isn't THAT intrusive or noticable. The audio I'd probably give a 3.5-4/5 because of the bass being muddy. As for The Rock, I'll need to test that a little more, but from what I tested, it seems like a near 5 star PQ.

I bought Con Air thinking I'd only watch it once to check out the PQ and then trade it but I was pleasantly entertained and to my surprise my wife enjoyed it as well. It's definitely a silly movie but it has it's moment where you can't help but to laugh.
PQ wise I'd say it's equal to The Rock. Both excellent transfers. |

I have the unrated cut on DVD and I have recently picked up the BD edition. I watched both recently and I cannot find the difference between the two. Maybe I rip the bong too hard to notice but could someone please enlighten me on the differences so I dont double dip sometime in the future?

oh I already bought Con Air in Blu... I am just wondering if the double dip will be worth it when they come out with an unrated cut on BD.
I cant tell the difference and I was just wondering if anyone else could find what was different in the two titles. |

I'm guessing they won't be releasing an unrated cut. It will be so incredibly similar to the R rated version that most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
The only Blu movies I can see releasing again are ones that have a lot of extended scenes, such as T2. |

um, the blu ray version is in high definition? yeah, that is the point of the format, not to release different versions!

The same could have been said of DVD and the double dips/triple dips kept on coming out. As for the difference between the two versions I couldn't tell either and i Had both versions on dvd.
