It used to be on both Amazon.co.uk and Zavvi, something tells me that they pulled the web pages possibly due to changes in the details, it may end up the same as the US release.

Even a search for the EAN 5051892216944 isn't pulling many results.

This movie is actually pretty decent. It does feel like there’s not really a first or third act. The characters are setup well but you kinda get dumped into it right away. I’m okay with that but the third act could have been set better and actually felt like a capper. I really liked the characters and tone quite a lot

It’s very clear this was an expanded idea of the Continental from John Wick. It slots right in with John Wick and Atomic Blonde.

It is true, the UHD is SDR, Rec709 but 4K and 5.1 DTS-HD. I thought it looked and sounded just fine.

My copy just arrived. While it doesn't have HDR it is encoded at 10-bit. So it should still see a minor color improvement over the standard BD.

That’s a shame I just ordered the US copy for now as HMV have a habit of leaving it until the last minute and then telling you it’s not available. Great film though so hoping the 4K is still fair without the HDR

What a marvelous failure.
Of all of the things that didn't make sense, this one had me scratching my head:

[Show spoiler]The crime boss is coming to the hotel, who owns the hotel. She admits that she is going to admit him to a room and work on him.
Why go through the stupid song and dance of making his men try breaking in to the hotel???

I think they knew they had a dog on their hands.

The trailers made it look like 100% John Wick where the criminals steals the diamonds from the mob boss and use the hotel as asylum because of the rules.
The mob then tries to break in while Jodie Foster and her security detail protect the hotel.

It wasn't that at all.

I liked it fine. The hotel rules were her rules since she actually ran the place which was how Goldblum's character set things up. Only reason the henchmen busted through was because they knew 'dad' was no more and wanted retribution for the failure of the operation.

I thought it was a cool little film - 'one night in the life of' kinda thing.

When I scanned the Walmart reciept with WM Savings Catcher App...
the HDX Vudu version showed up in my VUDU Collection.

Some where in past I linked vudu to walmart. Its either email or phone number link.


The 4K disc no HDR looks great on the Z9D.

I like this movie. Theres a rythm to it.
Just allow yourself to enjoy it. Watch it twice before you judge. I fell asleep the first time. The 2nd and 3rd time viewing was great. Glad I brought the disc.

Or if it will have English subtitles. While I have some Concorde discs, they are not friendly on Subs at all.

[Show spoiler]They weren't trying to break into the hotel (at least until the end when everything went to hell). She told the boss's son that he would only be admitted if there was a room available when the boss arrived and that since there was a riot going on she couldn't guarantee there would be a room. The boss's men then showed up and started sealing the hotel up so nobody else could get in before the boss arrived.
