I did find out that this is largely an action thriller laced with a load of dark humor and that sounds interesting to me.

Do you know with absolute certainty he wouldn't? No... It's unfortunate regardless, and he acknowledges he was all ****ed up, but I can actually understand how he felt blind rage-wise. His thought process at the time was racist(even if it was understandably driven by anger and a thirst for revenge), but where I disagree with everyone who's piling on him today on social media is that he himself is a racist. This was a long time ago and in the interview, he clearly sounds remorseful and ashamed of his behavior back then.

It's definitely a racist thought, whether or not he is a racist, it doesn't seem so. That being said, he should've known better than to open up about this. Nuanced talks about race just aren't possible these days, especially in the media/social media. It'll be interesting to see how the opening of Men In Black International is handled because of this.

I actually don't think he thought out the ramifications of what he said. I don't think his career is over, but this will be damaging to it I'm sure. It'll probably affect Cold Pursuit's box office too.
