I literally just came here to ask the same. Also pretty sure this will come to Germany or UK eventually, but if Region Free I would directly by the Grindhouse Release.

I see Diabolik has the preorder up but not Amazon. I usually wait for Amazon but don't want to miss out on the limited goodies. Should I just get it through Diabolik or wait a little?

I'm gonna pre order from Diabolik, they'll probably be a few dollars more than Amazon, But I'd rather support a independent business, plus with Diabolik I won't be worried about it showing up damaged. Diabolik usually ships a few days early as well.

Is the english dub complete or is it part english and part italian with subtitles? Not a big fan of the latter.

Part of a film being subtitled never bothered me. Frankly, I don't know what the big deal is. Think of it this way: you're in a room with lots of people. Some of those people don't speak English. Would you rather they be asked to leave so that you're able to understand what everybody is saying? At least the non-English portions are subtitled . This is done so that they're able to include the most complete version of the film possible. That alone is commendable.

What a strange comparison is that? Of course i don't mind and if its intentional like Inglourious Basterds i even love it.

But i don't like it in such cases...its just annoying and was never intended.

The German DVD I have which is from the original negative, has the complete dub in English. So I figure this will probably be the same.

Yeah it was on the US VHS copy of the tough ones which was released under the title "assault with a deadly weapon". Which also had a super weird intro sequence.

Sybil Danning had a line of VHS tapes titled SYBIL DANNING'S ADVENTURE VIDEO where she would "host" the movies. There were quite a few of them made.

I also interviewed Sybil Danning about the line to be used as an Easter Egg, and pulled the trailer created for the VHS release from another tape in the series.

Granted, this was all like over a decade ago, so I hope Bob remembered!

This is shaping up to be one of the best releases of the year. Hopefully it’ll be a good seller and may lead to Grindhouse doing more Italian crime releases. Would love them to do Violent Naples.
