I think they don't care anymore about making unique designs for steelbooks. They have created enough of a market where collectors would buy practically anything steelbooks (for the most part) and could care less about the arts (for the most part). So now they can focus on just releasing steelbooks and not having to pay more $$ to make them elaborate (embossed/debossed etc) and steelbook lovers would still buy them.

Steelbooks used to be unique in that they had details apart from just being metal boxes that appealed to collectors. This is rarely the case anymore.

Even the slipcovers have embossed designs now for about on average $5 less than a steelbook. As long as there is a big demand for steelbooks, they will keep pumping them out without feeling the need to do something drastic to attract buyers.

Disappointed they dropped the stellar orange artwork. My roomie told me to cancel his, and I accidentally canceled mine in the process. Oh well...

LOL. From the smaller artwork posted on this thread I didn’t make out that the Predator head was made out of skulls and spines.

Sorry, the flash on my camera sucks. If I turn the flash off, the pics look blurry. I definitely need to look into getting a better camera.

How does in store stock look for this? Shipping has been sold out for a while and when that usually happens the in-store stock also seems to be scarcer than the typical steelbook.

Got to my store about 15 mins after opening. Saw about 10 of these on the shelves. Got my ISP and headed back to work. Happy Hunting!!!

did the same. i did do a super quick look around. about 10 or more steels on the new release stand but only saw 1 Venom & it was non 4K steel. glad i do ISPU.
