I think I've mentioned this, but I'm genuinely curious to see how many units this sells.

I mean, this isn't some lost 80s slasher with great fx and atmosphere.

this is a laughable late 00s movies with no one you recognize, cast or crew, and no effects and all the production of a syfy channel movie. there is no nudity. and it's boring.

but you guys want to pay $27 for this? if you're gonna pay that much, you should never ever ever complain about a scream factory release ever.

but I like some scorpion releases and if this sells and that means they can put out more, I would love that.

False. In fact, there's both male and female nudity.

The things people will blind buy its absurd. This is not a cheap title, either. Buying a movie you have little to no information or prior knowledge on, just because its horror and there's a small chance it might be good, is asinine. People should really know what they're getting here before they pre-order. Like mentioned previously in this thread, this isn't some unearthed forgotten 80s slasher, it's a 2003 direct to video slasher with really cheap looking kills and a lower than low budget. I personally like it, but read up on it or watch the trailer first..buyer beware!

There's nothing else new to buy at Ronin Flix and I'm suffering from withdrawal so I'm blind buying Shredder. I also need something to tide me over until VS ships my order.

I remember seeing it, and I remember it being the worst horror movie had ever seen. For those who are thinking about blind buying it - don't

LOL. Definite proof he's never even seen the film. Another example of people letting popular opinion influence/dictate what they watch (or don't watch).

Taste is subjective. People enjoy all kinds of movies - it doesn't have to have rhyme or reason. This is why I'm never comfortable recommending movies to others. I enjoy lots of films many other people dislike and vice versa. I've never felt a need to attempt to understand why other people like what they like.

This is not a good film, but I rented it a couple of times in the day and enjoy it for what it is. I like winter weather slashers and Lindsay McKeon!

It's no ICED!

But I enjoyed it. Crack open a beer and enjoy.

It's not Don't Go in the Woods bad, but its not very good, at all. Heed the warnings from those of us who have seen it, as a blind buy $25 for this movie is just not worth it. I know those of you reading this thread will buy it anyways because, tehe horror, but set your expectations low and know what you're getting Its not downright horrible, there's a few cool deaths and I'm a sucker for trash like Trick or treats (1982- although it was pretty amusing back when that came out seeing in the Code Red thread how many people bit the bullet on that one based on the cover art or thinking they were unearthing some forgotten obscure 80s slasher expecting something completely different and being sorely disappointed) so I will be picking this up. I don't think I've seen it since the Hollywood video days..

I can't believe I had no idea this existed until now. First year of college back in 2004 I moved into a house with a bunch of people I didn't really know. First night together we ended up watching this movie for reasons I can't even begin to imagine but we had the best time. Had some drinks, ordered food and made fun of this ridiculous movie. We made sure going forward to have a bad movie night as a house at least once a month but nothing ever quite topped this. I'm still friends with a couple of them and every now and then we bring up "what was that weird snowboarding horror movie we watched?"

I think I have to get this on general principal because I can't believe a world exists where this got a special edition.

This sounds like many of VS's catalog and I enjoy many of those. So this seems right up my alley. My copy will be here today. Gonna shred it up this weekend.....

I'm not getting all the hate really, it's an awesome beer and pizza movie and sometimes that's all I need. It's by no means an amazing film, & I do remember renting it at Blockbuster when it first came out and having a pretty fun time watching it.

It follows a typical slasher film structure. Any slasher fan would likely enjoy it. Throw in the snowy setting which is often welcomed by slasher fans and it’s a good time. It’s just dumb fun, laughably dated, predictable, etc. Honestly my only complaint is the rest of the kills don’t come first to how good the first one.
