Agreed. I’ve never seen a tennis racquet held correctly in a movie. It’s even worse watching them swing the racquet.

The pacing is terrible in the extended.
It's tight as fupp in the TC, Sony only really do one cut

Give me a remastered standard Blu + all the extras from the three disc set and you'll have a buyer, Sony.

The Blu-ray is still sitting in place of the movie DVD in the 4-disc Korean Superbit Deluxe set that I bought years ago (see guys, it's not just putting 4Ks into Blu-ray cases that I do, I put Blus into DVD cases as well, bwahahahahahaaaaaaaa) so while it'll be nice to have everything in one package I can't see Sony going overboard with the packed-in Blu-ray. If there's no sign of a standalone Blu re-release for BHD then it'll likely be the same old MPEG-2 disc as before in the 4K package.

They *might* do a Patriot though and put the rest of the missing extras from disc 3 of the DVD set - the Blu containing the main "Essence of Combat" documentary & audio commentaries and not much else - onto the 4K disc so that would be one way to get a more complete package.

Am I the only one that finds it odd that they announced it 7 months out? Makes me think Sony has a massive pipeline for the format, hope we get some solid December announcements.

We haven't had an official announcement though, and if Sweetie wasn't such a military nut it's likely we wouldn't have heard about it at all, seeing as "military.com" got the scoop.

Still, I'd keep an eye on the Bits for the "breaking news" any day now. And when he does that, high def digest will then link off of that and we'll get lots of posts in here linking to them telling us what we already know. Can't wait.

Yeah it’s listed on the home page now. HDDs a joke. Regardless it’s going to be a long 7 months.

There's no chance of that happening. Too much stuff. Too little space.

Definitely picking this one up, one of my favourite Ridley films.

Guess it's time to look at shifting the old Play.com steelbook, remember picking that one up with Zombieland.

I wonder if Sony have that one hidden up their sleeves for next year's sequel.

Why May?! This sucks. I can imagine this will look sensational on an OLED display.
