Why is being very excited about a new film by one of my favorite directors "terrible?" I would have the same reaction concerning a new Aronofsky film. A new Cuarón film. Etc.

He's referring to the Nolanites.

But yeah, nothing wrong with being excited for a film, from a director you love.

Perhaps it will be one of Kubrick’s unrealized film projects, leading with Napoléon.

What would really blow minds is a reimagined/prequel/sequel/alternate universe to 2001.

What ever it is, in glorious 70MM.

I feel like that property should be left alone. To me, Nolan's 2001 is Interstellar.

Here's some casting choices that would fit nicely in a Nolan project:

Joel Edgerton, Rooney Mara, Jamie Dornan, John David Washington, Joanna Kulig

(I realized after there's quite a number of J names there)
