No, no. I understood what you meant. I just needed to take a dig at Bay (who I actually sort of like, sometimes). It was too easy.

Dunkirk was a masterpiece and my favorite film of 2017. Can’t wait to see what Nolan does next.

You’re either not excited nor are very excited. Both sides are terrible.

I hope it's a musical within a space opera within a rock opera.

Why is being very excited about a new film by one of my favorite directors "terrible?" I would have the same reaction concerning a new Aronofsky film. A new Cuarón film. Etc.

He's referring to the Nolanites.

But yeah, nothing wrong with being excited for a film, from a director you love.

Perhaps it will be one of Kubrick’s unrealized film projects, leading with Napoléon.

What would really blow minds is a reimagined/prequel/sequel/alternate universe to 2001.

What ever it is, in glorious 70MM.

Which probably includes me.

I mean, I own all of his films on Blu-ray if I recall correctly.

70MM, yes!

Napoleon would be ... well, that would be pretty much absolutely orgasmic!

I feel like that property should be left alone. To me, Nolan's 2001 is Interstellar.

Anyone else thinking up some dream acting collaborations? Off the top of my head:

[Show spoiler]Jake Gyllenhaal
Ethan Hawke
Rachel Weisz
Chiwetel Ejiofor
Rami Malek
Daniel Kaluuya
Naomie Harris
Claire Foy
Rinko Kikuchi
Steve Carrell
Charles Dance
Hugh Laurie
Jeffrey Wright
Ben Whishaw

Shane Carruth?

I could see him getting a great femme fatale performance out of Gadot.

Also, maybe get together with Pacino again while the guy is still amidst a hot streak.

How about a Cate Blanchett? I’d also love for him to cast Carrie-Ann Moss again.

Here's some casting choices that would fit nicely in a Nolan project:

Joel Edgerton, Rooney Mara, Jamie Dornan, John David Washington, Joanna Kulig

(I realized after there's quite a number of J names there)

Any list that includes Rooney Mara is very good as far as I'm concerned.
