Yes, that's allowed as long as the drilling is not done at night.

But I would rather not do that. Seems like a lot of work to have done and I would have to tip someone to do it. If I am going through all the trouble, I might as well just get a universal stand.

Don't leave us hanging MrHT, did you get a bigger TV and how did you get it home?
Ok everyone, I finally went ahead and bought the TV at Best Buy yesterday. I bought the Sony XBR43X800E for $550. It cost a bit more than other TVs at that size range but I needed a TV with a centered stand and I didn’t feel like ordering a universal stand and then waiting for it to come via snail mail. I brought it home via Uber XL and the driver was cool about it. He was socializing with me about the TV and telling me all about the TVs he has at home. It was a short but fun ride home.

It cost quite a bit for that size, but oh man it was so worth it. You really can tell that you get what you pay for here as there’s nothing barebones about this TV. The picture quality is simply jaw dropping incredible, it’s got tons of bells and whistles and HDMI ports, and the smart TV functionality is very stable, fast and responsive. It even comes with motion flow and this my first TV with that feature. I turned it off as I really hate that soap opera effect. The TV looks HUGE in my studio apartment and I can’t imagine wanting to go any bigger in the near distant future.
