But I will get it anyway because I need more Noomi Rapace in my life. That and the production values on the first season were absolutely insane. I certainly hope Paramount maintained them for the second season because watching the first season, your mind forgets that it's a TV series and thinks it's just a massive feature film.
Season 1 is the better of the two, but I'll be buying Season 2 as I enjoyed it.

Didn't seem toned down to me. Jim "F**kin" Greer is alive and well, and plenty of other characters using strong language. Lots of violence (shootings; bombings; stabbings; beatings; torture), but nothing extreme (was it that graphic in Season 1 anyway?).

There's plenty of money up on the screen in Season 2 - certainly in regard to location work. I like Noomi Rapace, but she did seem a bit miscast, and definitely under-utilized.

I watched seasons 1 & 2 when they originally released on Prime Video, and subsequently bought both seasons on bluray, but never got around to re-watching on disc. It's a shame I jumped to buy the two at the time, since the 4K editions were later released.

I finally watched the season 1 bluray and it looks and sounds incredible! It's on my list of top Atmos releases for sure.

I'm hanging onto my blurays of S1 & 2, but I just bought S3 and 4 on 4K, so I plan to finish the series within the next week or so.
