Definitely getting these.

Now, my ideal set would come with three or four discs each; a 4K disc, a Blu-ray movie + bonus features disc, and another Blu-ray bonus features disc (plus another features disc if necessary) that included EVERYTHING from all past releases.

This is one of those movie series that I have so many different versions of lol I’d love one definitive release.

And I want the THX logo back before 1 and 2!

I'd buy them for sure. Slipped versions prefered (like The Incredibles releases in US), though steelbooks would be nice too.

I wouldn’t pay more than $20 per movie.

For a 4K movie? You should find another hobby.

Stuff from Japan is always expensive. Their 4K/3D sets are usually $85.

The covers two posts up are the Japanese ones that Pieter linked to. The US covers will probably look like the Blu-ray re-releases coming on May 26.

Japanese covers are way better. Hope that's what gets used.

Those Japanese covers are alright, but they'll never be able to beat this beauty:

Takes me back to when I was a little'un and had it on VHS. Lolcry.

Eh. Both versions are just stock art of the characters placed over a background. Each set has pros and cons to how they're designed and I wouldn't say one version is better than the other. The Japanese cover to Toy Story 3 does look a little cluttered.

Edit:

You know, Disney could just start playing to 90s nostalgia and start releasing everything with the artwork used on the vhs releases and it would be marginally better than what we're getting now.

I will buy all my movies in 4K from here on out but I don't know if I wanna upgrade all my current movies. I can't imagine all Disney movies will make it to 4K.

I snagged the first one from DMR a while ago when they had the 3D w/digital. Missed out on the second one before it went OOP and for big bucks. I’ll probably get the first two on 4K, be nice to have the entire trilogy on digital.

Why do rereleases always have terrible artwork. Hopefully we get some awesome looking steelbooks.

The same reason that Devil May Cry 5 has a terrible-looking Dante!
