I saw a Target employee taking a cart to the back room/area today, and he had a bunch of Titans sets in it (I only got to quickly see that they had black bars across the top of the cover art, so I assume they were dvds). Oddly, nothing was put out on the shelves, so I wonder if this was recalled for some strange reason ??

I enjoyed the first season but do feel that they assassinated Starfire as a character. The show's version has nothing to do with its comic/tv show counterpart. And this isn't a fan boy complaining about Anna Diop, but Starfire herself is lovable, naive and shoots green blasts, not fire. AND she never wanted to kill Raven.

I've heard how this was so much better than that awful trailer but never actually got DC Universe to check it out. This might be a blind buy for me assuming the price eventually dips like the CW shows do.

All of DC's streaming service shows have been great. Surprisingly, the only disappointment for me has been the new season of "Young Justice". I was fully prepared to hate "Titans" based on the trailer, but it turned out to be really good.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "really" good. Starfire just doesn't seem quite right, and the season ended so abruptly like they forgot they had to do a finale almost... but it is decent enough to keep up with and definitely was better than I thought it would be.

If this and Doom Patrol are $15ish like the CW ones are, I'll get them... but not for more than that. We'll see if WB treats them differently since it's an in-house premium streaming service as opposed to free broadcast TV.

They filmed a real season finale, but they decided to not show it and save it for season 2 (as the opening episode), so they used episode 11 as the season finale. Also, it seems they took the original episodes 3 & 4 and mixed them into one.

I haven't seen this show yet but I will definitely buy the Blu-ray copy of S1 in the future. I guess by watching the teaser trailer online for the first time; it had made me see it in a different light. But I will definitely watch it in a heartbeat when I get a copy of it in my hands. It will sounds like that this will be unmissable.

I'm onto episode 6 and so far I'm extremely surprised by how good this show is. Once I saw the trailer last year, I'd all but written it off. I was completely wrong because it is great.

I picked up a copy of the Blu-ray on Thursday, and I've already finished watching the entire season

I watched it on my 100" screen/projector, and I enjoyed it quite a bit There were a few things I didn't particularly like of course, but nothing too major, and I can't wait for Season 2! I'm still kinda disappointed they decided to end the first season the way they did (apparently there was originally supposed to be a 12th episode, but they decided to save it for the S2 premiere ), but it has made my anticipation for S2 skyrocket! Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to wait for the (hopefully inevitable) S2 Blu-ray release, as I don't think I'll want to sign up for DCUniverse to watch it considering I've read they only have Stereo audio on there (I used to think Stereo was perfectly fine even from my cheap TV speakers, but now that I've got a 5.1 surround sound system I can barely stand Stereo ).

EDIT - I forgot to mention, this was one of the first TV shows in a long time to really surprise/shock me multiple times, which was awesome (I'm still shocked/happy they actually included/used
[Show spoiler]Batman
, well sort of ).

A review is up with screenshots. A little disappointed in the special features, which feel like also-rans after seeing earlier WB tv sets with more in-depth featurettes.

For me, the first two episodes have highly elevated blacks. Has anyone else noted it?

I don't have DC Universe, so I cannot compare between the stream and disc.

Krypton S2 was on sale on Vudu for $9.99 and I bought it because I have a feeling S2 will not be coming out due to cancellation.

I bought S1 during BB 2 for $20 sale.

The Gifted only on DVD, no physical for S2. I bought the DVD but I will buy either season if it comes down to $9.99 on Vudu. The Gifted only came out on DVD but you can buy it digitally in HD on Vudu or any other digital service that sells it.

It's becoming clearer that some TV shows will only be available on digital.

I want Jessica Jones S2 but waiting for a sale.

So a lot of the TV only DVD releases are available in HD on digital.

I bought the entire series on of The Americans on Vudu for 34.99 when it was on sale. Less than $6 per season.

Also, so far, they don't charge tax on Digital purchases...for now.

I couldn't pass up Pan Am S1 for $9.99 in HD.

Maybe Warner Archive will handle Swamp Thing and Pennyworth.

I wonder why Swamp Thing hasn't been released yet? All of the other DC Universe series have been released on Blu-ray pretty quickly.

I'll pick this up. I made it to about E3 of S2 when I cancelled my subscription. Glad they are putting these on disc. I enjoy the show, but I don't care for 'Starfire.' I pretend she is someone else (another super-hero) because she is not really like her character (though pretending she is someone else is going to be hard with her upcoming plot line involving her sister).

Ill get it. Not super happy with S2 but ill support it. Id be surprised if we saw a swamp thing release considering everything that went down with it production wise. Id support that too with a purchase if it was offered in bluray though.

Me too! I'm still angry that BLACK LIGHTNING Season 2 only received a DVD release.
