What a cool poster! Shows the Witch eating a little girl and either taking out or finishing the hair. Clever!

Look like it could go either way. I’m glad it does look more than just them finding the house and the witch attacking them.

It’s very stylistic and high fashion in places. It sort of reminds me visually of Woodshock.

Each trailer makes me more intrigued.

Oz Perkins has made two solid horror films in a row. This one looks okay, even if visually it looks strongly inspired by both The VVitch and Hereditary. I have to say though, in that small sampling from the trailer, Sophia Lillis' acting is abysmal.

I read somewhere ( wiki I think ) that the story centers more on Gretel and she is much older than her brother in this one, a coming of age story. I'm sure that it is a twisted coming of age story.

My original thought was that it could just be a touch of Satanism with things being reversed starting with the title.

It feels a lot like The VVitch with a European setting. Hopefully they have added some new twist to make this interesting. I probably won't catch this in the theater, but will likely pick it up on disk.

I hope it doesn't suck.

Saw the trailer before Bad Boys, and I dug the atmosphere and cinematography. If anything, at least it'll be a visual treat if the film sucks.

We don't want another January horror movie with an F Cinemascore!
