Amazon Uk still hasn't dispatched my Creature from the Black Lagoon set. The release was yesterday I think.

Amazon emailed that they don’t have Creature set in stock and unable to say when they will. Cancelled order and got it from Zoom for£15

Had the same email from Amazon.

Found this in HMV, today, for £14.99.

It’s on 2 discs

- original on one disc (as previous release)

- revenge & walks among us, on second.

Like the way use choose the actual poster, for which movie you want.

Can confirm this is the fixed disc, with correct 3D version on it.

Yes I got it today as well. Universal were hardly likely to release the set without it containing the corrected disc! The 3-D is excellent.

When I did a spot check of the discs, Revenge of the Creature had particularly soft looking shots, but other scenes looked great and in crisp 1080p. So dunno whether that's correct or not.

Watched this last night, the best way to watch this is in 3D as intended, the picture quality looks much more crisp, sharper and vibrant, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't notice any problems with it.
The 3D in this one is equally as good as the first film.

I had a quick check of the 2D version after watching the 3D and is not that great in my opinion, very soft and dull compared to the other Universal monster movies in this series that were made before this.

Amazon have finally sent my pre-order. I complained about the delay on a Wednesday and they have refunded me in full. Pretty chuffed about my free creature legacy set

It's very odd that Elephant Films got such a different transfer. Different aspect ratio and sharper. Maybe it's not actually sharper. Maybe the transfer was done open matte and they just blew it up for widescreen.

Very poor. It's better than VHS but below par even if it were a DVD. For a Blu-ray it's very disappointing indeed. Amazing to think this came from a 4K scan and amazing that Universal consider this to be "corrected".
