I found it mediocre ( 3 out of 5 stars ). The movie felt very long and had many slow parts. The mystery wasn't much of a mystery

[Show spoiler] Enola never bothered to ask the first question of investigation - who has a motive for the crime?

. It also bothered me that the movie

[Show spoiler] glossed over the fact that Enola's mother was a domestic terrorist.

The cast did a good job, but the script and pacing was bad. Breaking the fourth wall was cute at first, but towards the end when Enola mugs for the screen and asks the audience what they would do, Tinkerbell style, it became very annoying.

I am likely not the target audience, but with better writing and pacing, this could have been a good movie.

Agreed. I just don't call 3/5 or a 6/10 mediocre lol.

Re-watched this last night and was reminded of how cute and fun it is. I hope it gets a Blu-Ray release; I'd buy it in a second.

Just watched this last night and had loads of fun, the two young leads are adorable together and Cavil was a great Holmes.

I also liked how apart from the usual feminist message, it doesn't beat you over the head with wokeness like other movies do these days and was a breath of fresh air. I have hopes for the sequel i just hope it doesn't drop the ball.
