I wonder if theyll get newly remastered? Maybe a 4k release. Maybe I'm asking too much.

A sequel that was actually far, far better than the first film. It happens.

Wrath of Khan, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Bride of Frankenstein, Spider-Man 2...

/not all are "far, far better", but I'd say are better than the first to some degree.

At least you didn't say Terminator 2

You got me on Trek and Bride, though; the first Frankie is significantly creakier than the sequel.

Not usually a big fan of Buzzfeed - but there are quite a few behind the scenes interviews particular to this film contained here.

Below is a workprint of the Michael Jackson Music Video "Is It Scary?" that was shot for Addams Family Values but never completed/cancelled.

Sets from Addams Family Values are used alongside appearances from Wednesday, Pugsley, Pubert and Thing. Fascinating if you haven't seen it before.

Some Elements were reused for the long form video "Ghosts" that Jackson released several years later.

I don't want to derail the thread talking about Jackson - so if you have something to say about him - this thread isn't likely the best place to do it - let's try to keep it related to Addams Family Values please. :-)

Just curious, on the DVD release, it says "Some music has been changed". What was changed?

I will have to watch the movie again to see what the original music used in the cabin scene was.

The music video would have been released around the time of the film - but was cancelled due to "contractual difficulties" between Jackson/Sony/Paramount. Paramount may have wanted to distance themselves from the video due to some of the controversy with Jackson at the time as well.

The song was released on a CD at a later time under the original title "Is It Scary"
and he reused some of the story/idea elements for the video "Ghosts" later on.

Is is particularly interesting to see Ricci and the sets here. Would have loved to have seen a completed version. They have temp score here using Danny Elfman's music from Beetlejuice and Scissorhands.
