Robbie is really out there taking a page out of DiCaprio's book and working with all the greatest filmmakers: Scorsese, Tarantino, Chazelle, O'Russell.

If she's really doing a TV series, then it means that she's not doing Babylon not because of pregnancy or scheduling, but because she was dumped.

I mean the last time they worked together they both won oscars. So I don't think she was dumped. She's also a very accomplished actress as she demonstrated in her career-best work in Favorite holding her own against Colman and Weisz.

I can think of a couple of different things -

The role requires nudity. But that's right there in the script, she wouldn't have signed on without knowing that. And second, she's already done some nudity in the past.

I think might have been a studio wanting a more bankable name or maybe a studio read the script and wanted a more of a bombshell star or maybe Chazelle was overruled.

Both Stone and Robbie are A listers but Robbie maybe slightly have a bigger following because of her superhero roles.

It's a total oscar film. If they do it right, hollywood will eat this up with like 10-13 oscar noms.

I think Pitt and Robbie should have easy oscar noms for this.

When I had read the early script, his role was the de facto lead role of the picture alongside the Robbie role and the Pitt role.

Pitt was will have top billing but I'd even say the main storyline was basically his storyline which heavily involves Robbie.

But all that might have changed.
