Looks like all of those other Paramount complete series sets like the Star Treks and Twilight Zone that are pain in the ass to remove discs from. Pass.

I remove the discs by inserting a pen or pencil in the center of the hub, works like a charm.

I'm really looking forward to this.

TV Shows on DVD removed their announcement of it and the below French page says November 6, 2019. Maybe TV Shows on DVD removed it because it was delayed?

Season 3 is the best season. It also makes that back half of S2 and Fire Walk with Me better.

No surprise if/that it's that bulk plastic case type like Twilight Zone. But that is one pretty cover. I don't need this at all, but it does look really good.

Fire Walk with Me didn't need to be made 'better.' It's Lynch's best film.

When did Fire Walk with Me and Eraserhead swap titles?

The only thing I don't like about s3 is how it runs roughshod over the last half of s2. Briggs is one of my favorite characters, but they've turned him into some kind of Obi-Wan, and going with no mention of Earle and making Annie less than a footnote would be dealbreakers for me if not for the consummate artistry demonstrated everywhere else.

s3 seems to make it that Cooper let himself be imprisoned in the lodge in order to pull off this long con, which lets him off the hook for showing imperfect courage when confronting the dweller on the threshold as well as a lot of character flaws in the events leading up to the end of s2.

Earle is kind of irrelevant after S2.

box art looks okay but really doesn't have a Twin Peaks vibe to me.

feel like i'd rather they go all in on the Red Room vibe or like, the small town vibe like the original opening credits

That should be a good indication about how Lynch felt about a lot of that stuff. Annie wasn’t even supposed to exist, she was created by necessity because they had to change a huge part of their plans for the season.

As for the rest, don’t take the plot of the series too literally, or at least think about it in more than one way (not merely as plot.)

Doesn't appear to be yet. Be interesting to see what kind of price it goes up at.

Sometimes even in the show it's like she doesn't exist! We go into episode 29 after Annie's already been kidnapped by Windom Earle. But when we catch up with Norma in that episode she's just mooning over Ed in the 'Nadine comes back to reality' scene, seemingly not at all concerned that her alleged sister has been abducted by some psycho. It's almost like she's thinking 'good riddance'!
