This went live August 24. I was surprised it sold out. I’d be even more surprised if this wasn’t offered again once more copies are mysteriously found “in the back”.

so is this cut a different (encode)remaster or the same one that warner released in the states? I see that amazon uk has this in a non steelbook coming december 2nd from paramount listed on the description.

All UK/Europe releases of Watchmen is a paramount release has been for years
Paramount releases are distributed by Universal in UK/Europe

USA Watchmen always been a Warner release

On occasions they have shared encodes which I think he is asking about if they shared the encode on this or done their own.

Interstellar was one that was shared but in the past Watchmen both studios did their own encode and paramount was better. I am hoping in a small way paramount did their own and included Dolby Vision since usually they back DV on most their titles..

Just waiting to see what people post.

Arrived this morning.

I think we now know the reason for the slipcase...the bonus disc comes in cardboard sleeve in the slipcase, artcards and sticker in the steelbook. The steelbook only houses the 4K and BD film discs.
