Sony would probably see it as the 2019 one didn't do well enough for 4K so why would anybody want Full Throttle in 4K. That's how studios think.

Then why bother releasing the 2000 movie? You put out an UHD for that one, you might as well put out the sequel in 4K as well. Makes no sense otherwise...

Because it already made sense to release the first on 4K and the 2nd on BD but not 4K on the same day? Sense isn't a studio's governing factor, money is.

Apparently.

But it still makes zero sense to me to release the sequel on BD only, even if it never has been released in the US before. But that's just me, so yeah...

Hell I'm not gonna lie I thought the BD of Full Throttle looked better than the 4K of the original 2000 movie. Now imagine how it would’ve looked in 4K? Big miscalculation on Sony’s behalf imo

Full Throttle was a very pretty looking Blu-ray. It’s disgraceful that it took this long to get a proper Blu-ray release, but better late than never I suppose.

I hope it’s not canceled.

I for one really enjoyed the film. It’s a remarkably entertaining reboot.

You really enjoy being talked down to endlessly about feminist politics?

I quite enjoyed the film as well, I found it to be a well made, very entertaining light-hearted action movie. I never felt "talked down to" about anything. If you watch any film with the sole intent of finding some political viewpoint or "agenda" to disagree with, you'll probably find it, but I prefer to just watch the film, and see if I'm entertained. With this one I was, very much so. Insulting or belittling anyone who liked it just seems unnecessary.

Oh boy I wondered how long it would take for this thread to become somewhat political with this woke crap.

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you have to share it with the class. Not liking this movie doesn't make you interesting
[Show spoiler](cue "I never said...")
but if you feel so compelled to tell everyone how you don't like it, may I direct you to the proper thread. This is the 4K release thread, not the movie thread.

Bonus: Women expressing opinions and experiences that differ from you isn't new or "woke", you just haven't been paying attention.

Lol nothing I even remotely said was aimed towards women or trying to be political, that’s what my criticism was about, the post not the film itself.

If this 4K Blu-ray comes to the UK, it might have to be a HMV exclusive.

Per Amazon.in

Another IMAX Enhanced disc, if this doesn''t get cancelled.
