I never order these things new due to price, but I occasionally find one used...

I found used copies of Not Another Teen Movie and Starsky & Hutch recently.

Mine dispatched from wowHD yesterday. Looking forward to seeing this again.

It's one of those DVDs that's been lingering on my shelf for a decade while i've waited on an upgrade. Always nice to remove something from that pile.

Same here... a couple of years ago my Dad actually asked for this movie on Blu-Ray and he didn't believe me that it wasn't available :P. I ordered two copies one for me, and one to put under the Christmas tree for him, he's going to love it!

Received mine on Friday. Skimming through some scenes now.
Looks pretty great! Sounds awesome too! Only extra is a theatrical trailer.
I’m pretty ecstatic to see this one on Blu i never thought the day would come. I’ve been loving these Sony MOD discs.

I think you’ll be happy with the product. It’s an upgrade over the DVD that’s for sure! Grain is nicely rendered with some nice detail. I’d rate the PQ 4/5 but i can see the picky others maybe leaning towards a 3.5

I really want to buy the blu-ray of "3000 Miles to Graceland". However, since I live in Europe, I'm not sure if the blu-ray is code free or not. Does anyone know if Sony's blu-rays are generally code free or not? Thanks

it's very possible considering some of the other Sony MOD released titles
Young Guns II, Toy Soldiers etc have the A,B,C region codes label on their back covers.

I'd agree with this assessment. I just finished watching it. It looked solid projected at 100 inches. It's not a perfect transfer, but it gets the job done. The film was shot with a certain style, a grittiness that isn't always pristine, and the transfer reflects it.

As for the movie it definitely doesn't suck.

3000 Miles to Graceland resembles a late-90's Michael Bay film. It's fast paced, action-oriented and features a high body count, but it works pretty well as a double cross thriller too. Courtney Cox is really solid. She's just the right mix of conniving and vulnerable. Costner and Russell are reliable as always. Costner's certifiable and clearly relishes playing the villain.

The film's got a bit of an edge to it, but it's over the top and not ashamed of it. I appreciate movies that embrace what they are. This one's just for fun.
