I liked the movie decent enough. And most importantly it should look good! I'd say it's a lock I'll be in. But I have to see about my purchasing through BF and holidays. I could be poor by January (poorer than usual)

Why is this coming out in January all by itself instead of alongside Beauty and the Beast, Pete's Dragon and the 2 Alice movies? Are their remakes not worthy of a mass release like with Pixar/Marvel?

Favreau probably pushed for it, being in Disney's good graces with Lion King and Mandalorian this year.

what about the Narnia movies? funny how 'Dawn Treader' a Fox movie ultimately is back in Disney hands - maybe a 4K transfer will return the movie to it's original scope aspect ratio

the remake that broke the mold and went completely different from it's original source movie and went to the beat of a different drum - and what a great theatrical Atmos mix ... take my money !!
