Lately all steelbooks are selling out fast. Either high demand, or low supply. But I always manage to get a copy on release day

Had a gift card with $38 left on it so just reserved my copy for pickup just to be safe...this will look so nice next to the recently released Frozen 4K steelbook.

YES! I know what you mean!!! I ordered the Knives Out steelbook in December and Best Buy still says "shipping delay if we don't ship it by March 8th we'll cancel it" or something to that degree

Hard to say. I think Disney is noticing that they've been overproducing steels. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is pretty much depleted everywhere whilst its predecessor still lingers in large numbers.

Same with the first Frozen. Even after the $15 and $10 sales lately, my stores still have so many left. I won't be shocked if this sells out immediately.

It's mostly been the catalog titles that have sat there collecting dust while the new steelbook releases fly off the shelf, except for Captain Marvel and The Force Awakens. Plus there's a chance they've learned from their mistakes and will make less copies from here on out.
