I could care less about politics. That's his American right, but just didn't like him in this film at all. If anything, for me, it made it less. It's worth a $1 rental or a free stream maybe.

Another "Cats" situation.
Also, completely different studios. Paramount sticks to their releases. So do Disney/Fox, WB, Sony, Lionsgate, etc. for the MOST part. Universal (seemingly) looooooves to cancel stuff lol.

Just got out of Sonic. Wow. Really exceeded my expectations. Fun script, good acting, and a TON of heart. My favorite video game movie to date, easily. Day one UHD purchase for me!

The chances of that are less than 0, you see the Box Office numbers?

The blu ray was pulled too. This happens a lot. They'll come back soon. This is Paramount's biggest hit since Bumblebee in 2018

Indeed. It made 21 million on its first day alone. Amazon is just being quirky. It'll be back up soon.

Saw this today in Dolby Cinema and I can't say I enjoyed the movie, but my 4-year old loved it and it had some really nice looking scenes. Sonic's blue lightning effects and Robotnik's red robot effects had some real pop and should look great on UHD. The dance scene should be a standout, toot. I'll probably buy it for my son but I do wish I liked it a bit more since I think he'll be spinning this one on the regular.

I'll probably get this UHD. Rather curious, and I like the blue spine.

Blind buy for me now. It’s a hit & got decent reviews & saying it’s a kids movie won’t deter me. I was in HS when the game came out anyway & it was just as popular with my friends & I.

I mean I might also be buying this in case Carrey filmed a lot of behind the scenes footage of himself in character. Then it gets made into a Jim and Andy like documentary, where he was Dr Robotnik for a year.

No! I'm not making excuses to watch a Sonic film

I cant wait for my Street Fighter / Sonic double feature that night! It'll be a battle to see who can chew the most scenery: Jim or Raul.

Saw it and really liked it... nah I loved it! Sonic was a lot of fun. Robotnik was hilarious and of course Jim Carrey did an amazing job.

I am really hopeful for a sequel.

Aye this is what I hope it will offer when I watch it. Not everything has Citizen Kane....obviously....but some people still don't get that.

Steelbook up on Best Buy, just like recent Paramount steelbooks. Nothing on the site makes it seem exclusive to Best Buy.

Watched this with my family. Fun movie from start to finish and deserves a sequel.

is this movie actually going to be a native 2160p release? I have strong doubts about that considering the heavy CGI involved, film budget, and the time constraints involved with the redesign.

The 4K release of Detective Pikachu was pure trash.

Detective Pikachu was shot on real film but has 2K DI. That's sad.

I hope Sonic The Hedgehog's Native 4K and HDR10 will have a very nice color and fidelity.
