Kinda surprised there's not a single vote for M. Night yet.

Yes, he made Unbreakable and The Sixth Sense, but his time has long since gone. He's pretty much made nothing but crap ever since. Split was the lightning in the bottle.

I quit watching his movies -- like, TOTALLY quit -- after I walked out of Signs. It pissed me off so, so much. The whole thing made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and I just said, "F this. There are enough really good movies out there. I don't need to be treated like a moron."

None of the directors besides Uwe Boll and Seltzer/Friedberg have any business being on that poll. And even then I've actually enjoyed some Boll's movies.

I've always considered the WOAT to be Ulli Lommel, the man that gave us a bunch of "Based on a True Story" serial killer films and Zombie Nation, which is IMO the worst movie of all time. There isn't a single director that has a streak of horrendous films the way Lommel did in the 2000s.

I don't think he's made a single good film. Some might defend him because the films look glossy or have big impressive action set pieces, but I'd argue that fact that he has so much resources available at his disposal that most these directors will never see, makes his cruddy output all the more dubious. It's one thing to make garbage on a low budget, it's another thing though when the director has over $100 million and A list stars and they still make rubbish.

Eli Roth hasn't made a single good film, either, though Knock Knock you could argue is a "so bad it's good" movie, especially this part:

"IT WAS FREE PIZZA!" ROFLMAO!

But other than that, he's made nothing but B-horror and really bad torture porn movies, including the wretched Hostel and its sequel.

Most of his movies suck sure but I'd say its close to an objective statement he has a generous amount of skill with filming action, movement and cool set pieces. How can he possibly be the worst filmmaker of all time?

The Rock and the first Transformers were good. And Bad Boys 1 and 2 are both guilty pleasures of mine.

I don't even think they need to be "guilty" pleasures. They're funny movies! Jeez, in this day and age we need as many funny movies as possible. And I say this as someone who is not a huge fan of comedy. But in this case, absolutely.

I haven't seen the work from a lot of the listed directors, but one of the worst in my opinion is Michael Bay. The only film I like of his is Armageddon, but even that movie has some elements I don't particularly care for. Bay seems to excel in two things: boobs and bombs. With his movies, there's usually some bimbo walking around or something blowing itself to hell for no reason. I really don't get why people seem to worship the quicksand he tries to walk on.

I love boobs. Zach Snyder can't give us boobs. The worst director of all time is Zach Snyder.

[Show spoiler]Not really. He's a convenient target. But I don't like his movies.
Objectively, Andy Milligan is worse. But Andy Milligan at least gave us some boobs once in a while, ya know?
