Nice sale but all would be blind buys.
Ocean's 8 is entertaining to watch once for the heist and the performances, but it's just about the most tension-free movie I've seen. They are never in any danger, there's never any threat that someone will catch them. There is a scene where they're stumped about what to do, and in the next scene a new character suddenly shows up to solve their problem.

Very true but having another B&M stocking it isn't a bad thing.

Two of the Target Stores in my area show it 'In Stock' via online inventory but neither can find where any of the copies are at. It's been weeks now.

I know the online inventory doesn't account for shrink or items being misplaced but if there is another store (like Best Buy) in the area that might stock it, I'm all for it.

It's not on the deal page so probably not a part of the sale.

It looks like it might be The Matrix instead of The Mule.

Oceans 8 was just bleh compared to the others imo. But at about 12 a film, not bad choices.
I loved The Town. Ben should have cast his brother Casey since he's a better actor [re Gone Baby Gone]. I really discovered Blake Lively in this film. The way she speaks is almost unintelligible, she did a great job.

I also thought The Mule was excellent.

Oceans 8, girl power Ghostbusters sucked but this one worked for me.

So I'll be Ebert to your Siskel just to give another point of view.

I bought all of these when they came out and I also bought the special edition box of The Town when it was discounted at Walmart.

Arrived at my local store 40 minutes after opening and was surprised to discover that the 3/35 shipper was already out. It has historically taken days for all shippers to be put on the floor.

FWIW, and I know that's not much, I was able to get slipcovers on 4 titles: Argo, Man of Steel, Superman, and The Town. I Am Legend and Unforgiven did not have any.

A side note, in my first visit back to the store since Christmas, I noted that the 4K section has been downsized notably. They don't even have enough titles in stock to use all of the shelf space, to the point that the Disney/Marvel 4K steelbooks are taking up several slots in the regular 4K section rather than the exclusive steelbook section.

Edit: Also, a heads up, my Unforgiven was resealed/shrink-wrapped and did not contain a digital code. Considering that WB has been re-releasing 4Ks intentionally without digital and denying requests for missing digital codes for those without slipcovers that specifically mention digital, I'm guessing that the DCs might have been intentionally removed in some of these like they were for Walmart BF...

At my Target, they are stocked by the groceries.

At my store, they had the Mule in the standee, but online they do not. Guess both are correct?

Yogi mentioned which had slipcovers and my experience was the same.
Also be aware that online says my store only had 1 copy, but the standee had 2 of each.

Agreed. I bought it at the $24.99 price point near the end of January, so I went ahead and price adjusted it via live chat

I bought it when it was 19.99 at the beginning of December. Well first at 24.99, then priced adjusted when it hit 19.99. I completely forgot about it during their B2G1 sale, or I could have gotten it for $10.

Had a couple of employees do some digging for me in the back for the 3 for 35 deal since nothing was out. Picked up Superman, Great Gatsby, & I am Legend. Superman had a slip but the other 2 did not. Unforgiven is the only one that I already owned and would highly recommend it. I struggled to find a third title and wasn’t too fond of IAL on the first viewing years ago but I think these prices are great so I’m happy to give it another shot as I’ve been wanting to pick up the other 2.

Has anyone checked in store to see which titles DO have digital copies? Seems impossible to know what to expect with WB titles anymore.

Since WB doesn't advertise digital copies on the artwork except for the slipcover, unless you have a slipcover, nothing is guaranteed. 4 of my 6 did: Man Of Steel, Superman, Argo, and The Town. I Am Legend didn't have a slip but it was shrink-wrapped over its original cellophane (which I could tell when inspecting in store), and thus had its digital code. Unforgiven still had remnants of its original cellophane, but once opened, come to find out, it was mostly gone, as was the digital code. WB CS will only replace a missing digital code if you provide a picture of the slipcover that shows it should come with a digital copy, so no slip, no DC.

Thanks. I went into my Best Buy earlier and of course they didn’t have the shipper out, or any of the titles I wanted in the main area. Based on your luck, I chanced it and placed an online order. Fingers crossed!
