Watched this with the kids tonight. The HDR and audio on this disc is intense, but that's about where the positives stop. The film was mediocre and not as good as the first film.

Visually this one looks great. But the audio felt lacking. Putting the volume up a few clicks helped (up in Disney Atmos territory), but still wasn’t impressed. Watched with the kiddo though so couldn’t mess around with any settings. Curious to hear others’ thoughts

Watched this again tonight, and while it's still not half as good as the first, I did enjoy it more because I'd seen it already and knew what I was in for... but I also noticed a lot more of everybody badmouthing whatever music wasn't their own. I hope if they do a third they can do better, unless the Peacock series is taking it's place (anybody know what that's going to look like? I skipped the Netflix series because I didn't like the animation) but the HTTYD series didn't stop the sequels so hopefully this won't either.

I'm glad I gave this a rent first.

While I do applaud the usage of different music styles (as in, more variation than in the first one), it also backfires and makes for a rather uneven experience.

But my biggest problem is that the movie itself is such a bore when compared to the first one, it's nowhere near as funny or engaging. The story keeps repeating its main theme over and over and over again, in such a way and to the point it becomes annoying.

A real letdown.

Wow, this movie is quite the looker! Beautiful image throughout. Scenes just kept bringing more and more to look at. It was definitely presented in a different way than the first in terms of backgrounds and textures for the landscape but it still looked amazing.

The sound was full but it could have had some more low end it seems. A few moments dropped down but the songs could have hit me more in the gut. Still though the sound was rich and clear throughout.

Story wise nothing could match the first. The first movie to me was magical and hit the right notes and tugged at my heart, and is one of my top animated movies. I wasn’t expecting that again. Still this movie had a positive message and the story was interesting enough to make me want to watch it again.

Could someone please let me know if this blu-ray has the Korean dub audio on either the 4K or regular Blu-ray? I know that some releases may have other languages not listed on the packaging, for instance Detective Pikachu which has so many different language audios on the 4K. I would really appreciate it!

Yes, this movie is super conventional and completely predictable.

Very preachy and seems to be overpriced everywhere due to Covid boredom.

The original movie was 1000x better. Wait for a Black Friday sale!

4K and regular blu just have English, French, and Spanish (from going through the audio soundtrack list on my player - unless there are some secret audio tracks).

Wow, the colors and depth on this disc are remarkable. Absolute demo material. It’s a shame the movie is so awful but if you have kids there are worse things to put on in the background since the occasional glance at the screen is so pleasing to the eye.
