Have now seen most of the game, including the ending.

[Show spoiler]The flashback scenes were bittersweet and should have been the actual game. Joel and Ellie only have one present day interaction - and it's in the post credit scene where she tries to forgive him after she found out about him lying about the fireflies.

The actual story ending was literally for "nothing" and she loses two fingers in the process. You may argue that she finally forgave Joel at that point but overall it was a pretty boring revenge story. Game should have been really about the flashback scenes.

Pretty underwhelming ending...Joel and Ellie's relationship deserved a much better send off. All the leaks were true it seems...also a doggystyle sex scene??? Yikes.

the dialogue in this 'game' is absolutely cringe, it's what I'd call 'twitter talk'. anyway, the best part of this is the flashback of young Ellie with Joel (when he takes her to the museum)

The same character spits on Joel after Abby kills him with the golf club. It's like a personal big FU from Cuckmann to the fans of the first game.
