Fant4stic, I shut it off 20 minutes in, it was that bad.
Also couldn't get through more than 5-10 minutes of any of Seltzberg's POSs that I've had the displeasure of attempting to watch (Date Movie, Meet the Spartans and DisASSter Movie). |

I always finish a film that I start....which no doubt makes me some kind of masochist. However, the first time I saw the original version of I Spit On Your Grave I had to stop it around half way through for about an hour because all that rape really was so hard to take. Yet I will always defend the film...I feel that it was right that it made me feel the way it did.

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to movies; most times I can find something (even if it's just the music or an actor/actress I enjoy) to make watching it through to the end worthwhile. With that in mind, the only thing in recent memory that I completely zoned out from was the Point Break remake (2015). How do you make "extreme" sports boring? This movie, that's how. At least the original knew it was a dumb action movie and had some fun with it. The remake tried so hard to be "serious" that it just drained all the fun out to make it happen. Not to mention, the stars had none of the charisma of the original duo of Keanu and Swayze - as demonstrated by the fact that I can't even remember their names.
I did finish the movie, but only in the sense that I kept it on in the background while I spent probably two-thirds of the running time browsing the 'net on my phone, and only because if I start a movie, I intend to finish it. |

Hellraiser II and Forbidden Zone. I did go back and finish the latter though, and I admire its spirit.

Both of these were at home. I’ve never walked out of a movie to my knowledge.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World (Too much way over the top stuff for me) King Arthur: Legend of the Sword-Got 10 minutes in and that was it for me The Tree of Life-I know some people loved this one but I couldn’t finish it. Why is Sean Penn walks around depressed the whole movie-WTF? |

I couldn't stand it's style either and had to drop it. Besides that there isn't many films that i have really set to watch and then stopped watching midway. I'm sure there are some that were on TV that i quickly gave upon on. Hellboy for example.

If we extend the definition of tapping out to also meaning taking a break I'd throw Tetsuo The Iron Man in there. Within its final 20 or so minutes I had to pause it for a short bit, and rest my eyes before I put myself through anymore of its utter mind ****ery.
I also quit 2/3 of the way through Upgrade, which didn't do much for me. |
