Anyone seen Rottweiler in 3D?

I was at a screening of Rottweiler a few years back. They played it with Hit the Road Running as part of a 35mm 3-D festival. A few other board members were in attendance.

I think both films had a dart throwing sequence! I liked Rottweiler well enough, but it's not a film you go into with high expectations. It's a low budget film, but there's a basic level of competence there. I found it passable entertainment. Crucially, the 3-D was solid in both films which gave me something I could appreciate no matter what. There's probably some padding in there, Rottweiler had mud wrestling. There was a certain regional charm to the Owensby films that give them different vibe to low budget Hollywood films of the time. Not the most original material, but it is what it is.

Yeah, when Silent Madness is announced, I'd encourage others to order early and leave positive comments to the label with respect to releasing a 3-D title. I hope it does well enough that they are open to doing more.

As long as it has a slipcover the VS fans will buy it even if the disc is blank

There is a potential match made in heaven though. The 3DFA owns the rights to an adult X rated title. VS is probably the best at adult titles right now. It would sell out, have a nice slip cover and 3DFA could make some money. They need to get together.

Very tempted to order this. 88 Films might pick it up for a UK release but i'm not sure if they've ever done a 3D Blu Ray so there's no guarantee it would get a UK 3D release.

Well, it's region free and (if ordered from Vinegar Syndrome) comes with a slipcase that pretty much guarantees you'd get your money back should you ever want to sell it on, so you really have no reason not to order it.

It’s a very important release. Hopefully every vintage/silver Age 3D fan in this forum will pick it up.

They are a great company. If this sells well, who knows what could happen.

By the way, the Viewfinder is sold out.

Well spotted! I hadn't seen that when I ordered it - my excitement just doubled. If it's anywhere near as good as the 3D in Parasite, it'll be worth every penny.

Maybe it’s time we all let VS fans know how great 3D can be. VS have quite a strong presence in that thread, if we let them know how much we appreciate and look forward to this title, it will help imo.

I have been a fan of theirs for a while but with 3D I feel like I’m beating a sole drum in that thread lol.
