One of my favorite movies and I totally forgot about this release. It won't let you preorder yet, hopefully I can secure a copy.

Mine says delayed. I preordered it months ago. I went ahead and just did an in-store pickup order. If they ship the online order, I'll return it.

Got mine today, small dent on the bottom back panel, and paint chips galore.

My love for Steelbooks is slowly wearing off, paying $35 a Steelbook, then not having the option to go to the store to pick a good copy and receiving an item not in 100% new/good condition when you pay 100% of the price they ask is just plain silly.

Same issue here. Had two dents on it and paint chips under the J card. It was shipped in one of the flimsy “padded” white envelopes they use. The quality control is just not there any more, and quite frankly, they’re too expensive for them to come damaged almost every time now.

Mine got delayed, then sent yesterday. Because of course I preordered.
Supposed to arrive Thursday USPS now.

EDIT: Got tracking info, this is being mailed USPS from Northridge, CA about 125 miles away.
It's taking 4 days. So it must be coming from the BBY store there. No warehouse in Northridge.
What the H### is wrong with BBY preorders that my 2 or 3 month preorder is coming from another retail store?

Ordered the SB based on ESCHENPOD’S pic. Really gorgeous looking. Now I gotta keep fingers crossed it doesn’t come banged up!

I was able to do in store pickup so got it day 1. This is a nice steelbook. Glad this got a 4K release.

I went ahead and cancelled the Collectors edition the other day to instead just Preorder the Steelbook.
As amazing as the collectors edition seemed to me, I just figured where am I going to put all that stuff to keep it neat? I'm not a fan of the look of the steelbook but still just prefer having steelbooks to place all future editions in.

By me, Wisconsin, I showed some stores got them in, but not all stores, and the quantity was low, like 2 or 3 per store.

My order arrived today in a poly mailer from an LA store.
Amazingly no outside damage, and no spine slashes!
No time to open yet, nothing loose inside when I jiggle it.
